> WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING <
"As a trustee of the Building Exploratory for 8 years, I know at first hand the expertise this centre brings to a huge audience particularly at a local level. The whole ethos of the Building Exploratory, its focus on neighbourhoods, detailed research, creativity and engaging the public in design make it a unique and highly valuable national asset.”
Angela Brady, RIBA President
"The Building Exploratory has a successful history of working in partnership with local communities in London. Through supporting their ambitious collaborative work, the Arts Council is pleased to be helpening to widen participation in the arts."
Moira Sinclair, Executive Director, Arts Council England London
"I just wanted to say thank the Building Exploratory’s Senior Bees for their participation in the Masterplan Consultation workshops we had last week. We got some fantastic feedback from the group and all the staff enjoyed working with them.... they all said that this was their favourite session so far because of the relaxed environment, the Bee’s willingness to participate and in general just a great bunch of people. What I found particularly good was the quality of feedback they provided – all had well considered thoughts and an awareness of current and future issues within the town centres.” Becky Taylor from Hackney Council Planning Department’s Consultation - Implementation Team
"I love the Exploratory and what it does. It was a very passionate debate - brilliant."
Attendee of the Pecha Kucha evening, The Changing Face of Hackney
“This workshop made me look at things in different ways and helped me to find the artist inside myself. THANK YOU!!”
